![]() Great organization and volunteers make this a first-class event. Many of my friends have run this race year after year. The course was nicely thought out and I like the 2 lap design so friends and family can see us. Generousity and organization to brag about. The aid station volunteers (who are all experienced ultra runners) knew when I was bonking and telling me to EAT! Bagpipes were played, headlamps bobbing in the dark, screaming cheers at finish, hugs at every station, thanks to EVERY volunteer and the Race Director-so much hard work and so appreciated! Everyone helped me in my first 'official' trail marathon. Supportive, considerate, kind and extremely caring. You won't find better people to volunteer, run and yet have FUN at this race. | 2 Stone Cat Marathon and 50 Mile Trail Racess ![]() Loved this trail marathon-due to the people! (about: 2012)Ĭynthia Brown from Ipswich, MA ( 11/4/12) Wonderful support too! I will do this one again! | 1 Stone Cat Marathon and 50 Mile Trail RacesĪ great race with a scenic and runnable trail. Love the course, all of the people cheering each other on, the aid stations (won't find bacon in a road marathon!) and everything about the race. and all of the volunteers for another INCREDIBLE event. | 4-5 Stone Cat Marathon and 50 Mile Trail Racess I highly recommend doing this race at least once. But the funny thing is, it was great fun, very challenging and the professionalism and support of all involved made it a lifetime experience. Running your first 50 miler at 60 is no joke (I ran my first 26.2 last November)and although I thought I had trained sufficiently, I was educated in the Graduate class of the Stone Cats. ![]() I cannot say enough about this experience. John Guglielmi from Braintree, MA ( 11/8/15) ![]() I have run this marathon, and I want to add my comments about it.Īmazing experience for this first-timer (about: 2015) ![]()
